The Raaberbahn AG / GySEV (formerly Raab-Ödenburg-Ebenfurter Eisenbahn AG, ung. Györ-Sopron-Ebenfurti Vasút), an Austrian-Hungarian joint venture, also received six standard gauge locomotives in 1972, which were classified as sub-series M62.9. The M62.9 were based in Sopron and were scrapped in 1996.
