Steam locomotive with trailing tender series 24 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (Ost). Epoch III.
Furnished driver's cab. Unobstructed view between tank and chassis true to the original. With simplified Heusinger control. Brake shoes between the driving wheels. Metal die-cast chassis. Motor with flywheel. Plug-in interface according to NEM 651 standards for the adaptation of decoders. Drive on all 6 wheels in the tender, 4 of them with traction tyres. Dual headlights. Locomotive tender close coupling. Automatic PROFI coupling on both sides of the locomotive with pre-uncloupling.
The locomotives of the series 24 were provided in 1926 for the passenger transportation in flat land. At the beginning they were used on the long branch lines of East and West Prussia. There they also got their nickname „Steppenpferd“.
