Length 200 mm (standard length), branch angle 18°, branch radius 647 mm, frog angle 12°.

Standard turnouts: The standard turnouts 6170 and 6171 are the foundations for variable running operations on the model railway layout. Branch-offs from the straight can be made up with them. Extensive track layouts in the station area as well as storage sidings or industrial yards are made possible with them. The length of the straight section of the standard turnout is 200 mm, corresponding to one 6101. The branch-off section of the turnout corresponds to a curved track 6138. By connecting track 6138 onto the branch-off part of the turnout, the distance of 63.5 mm is once again achieved in the parallel track.
In the area around the frog of the turnout, the turnouts are fitted with contact surfaces so that the flanges of the wheels can pick up power. The frog angle is 12°. The turnouts are fitted with sprung turnout blades, so that they can be run through from the frog end, even if the turnouts are set in the opposite direction.
The turnouts are available for manual operation. Of course, the manual turnouts can be fitted with electric motors later. This turnout motor can be mounted above the baseboard surface, or even underneath the baseboard. It is then necessary to cut a hole in the baseboard to accommodate the turnout motor.
