Diesel locomotive T 679, CSD
New design in 2014: Roof part without silencer, decorative stripes and star on the front, locomotive of the Zvolen depot. As in all states of the former Eastern bloc, the Russian locomotive that was built in Luhansk, later in Woroschilowgrad, was also widespread in Czechoslovakia at that time. In contrast to Hungary where the MAV took over the original designation M62, the popular very noisy locomotives were designated T 679 by the CSD.
