New design in 2014: Roof part with silencer of the construction"Meiningen " and louvre vents, U-shaped grab irons on the front sections, 2-part fan louvres in the side sections.



The V 200, later BR 120, is with its 1.470 kW (2,000 HP) perfect for the goods train service. This construction type has the proven design of the M 62 which was delivered in Luhansk (Ukraine) already for many years to Soviet and foreign railway companies. From 1966 to 1975 the Deutsche Reichsbahn of the GDR procured a total of 378 railroad engines of this series.
