A visit to the TT construction: Fine-tuning of the series 86

ROCO's completely new construction of the series 86 (Art. No.: 7180009, 7190009) in TT gauge is in the final stages of tool making and the first models will be available at your local retailer this autumn.
 
To make sure everything goes according to plan and the models meet the high standards of ROCO fans, test are currently being carried out and the details of the injection moulding tools are ajdusted where necessary.
 
We looked over the shoulder of our design engineer while he was checking all the wires and plug-in parts for perfect fit. The large number of metal parts is striking immediately: steps, handle bars and even minutest boiler tubes are made of metal.
 
And of course we didn't miss to take a photo of the first sample for you. Please note that the photo shows a pre-series sample and that not all details correspond to the prototype at this stage.
